Memory Expansion Board NP457

The memory expansion board NP 457 is an add-on module used within our measurement and control assemblies. Central elements are a SC13 processor and a memory cartridge of currently 0.5 GB. Memory management and data control is handled by the SC13 which has build-in RAM and ROM. A file system and interface driver including network and internet functions are available. Even database applications can be implemented. For the control of the memory expansion board and the input/output of data a serial (RS232) and an network interface are integrated. For the operation of the module a voltage supply of 10-24 V DC is necessary. If there is an unexpected interruption of the power supply the internal buffering provides sufficient energy to complete the current memory operation.
