Camwifi (which means "Wifi Audio Mpeg Coupler") has been designed to standardize the audio equipments used in different transportation networks ( trains,buses, subways...). The announcement is "built" from a Text-to-speech engine , which means that no recording is needed anymore. The application is embedded in a PDA, so that the train manager is free to make an announcement from anywhere in the train, and even on the platform, using a wireless link between his PDA and Camwifi.
Camwifi has been tested under harsh environnements and comply with european norms (EMC, Temperature, vibration, Humidity,...).
